Sourcing of natural ingredients

Ethical and local

Our 100% natural ingredients are sourced from trusted local suppliers with strong ethical credentials and sustainable practices. We are committed to minimising environmental impact, preserving the ecology of our ingredient origins, and supporting local ecosystems and businesses to create high-quality products.

Packaging solutions

Planet-friendly

Our packaging is designed with recycling in mind: we use recycled materials that can later be recycled themselves – nearly every component can be given a new life. We use a glass bottle rather than plastic, unbleached card from sustainably managed forests, and minimise waste wherever possible.

Preventing waste

Protecting Nature

Remarkably, the blood we use in our products is usually a waste by-product of the venison farming industry. By repurposing this nutrient-rich and valuable material, we are minimising environmental pollution, promoting sustainable resource management, reducing waste and protecting our waterways.

Company culture

Happy & Healthy

We care about our people as well as pets:
our team is made up of experienced and skilled New Zealand locals, who we encourage to work in ways that suit them and their lifestyles, so we can keep them happy and healthy in the long term too.

Lightweight approach

Low-carbon Impact

Customers simply mix our powdered products with water in their own home,
so we are able to reduce weight and volume during transport, minimising environmental impact by avoiding the shipment of liquid products.
